A blaze at a home in Bradwell was tackled by firefighters and investigations have started to establish the cause.
Crews from Great Yarmouth, Gorleston, Acle and Lowestoft were called to the fire in Chestnut Avenue at just after 11pm on Friday (July 9).
They wore breathing equipment as they doused the flames and were at the scene for just under an hour.
The crews also used a thermal imaging camera to check for hot-spots and a monitor to check for gas leaks.
Police and ambulance also attended.
It is not yet clear whether anybody was in the property at the time.
A police spokesman said: "There has been a house fire overnight
"Fire investigation teams and police are at the scene to establish the cause of the fire.
"Police are going to neighbouring houses to speak to residents and offer reassurance."
A team of forensic officers arrived at the scene at 11.20am.
