A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital after a crash involving three cars and two motorbikes near Wells.

The B1105 near Wells-next-the-Sea has reopened after an accident just before midday on Sunday (February 27).

Following the crash, a motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital with suspected serious injuries.

All emergency services attended with Norfolk Police tweeting to drivers to use alternative routes.

Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service was called at 11.50am to provide casualty care and to make the scene safe.

Crews from Kings Lynn, Fakenham, Hunstanton and Sheringham attended and left at 12.30pm.

As of 3pm, police officers were still on scene while recovery work took place.
