Part of a city road was closed after a bin lorry caught fire.

Fire engines from Sprowston and Carrow were at the scene of a vehicle fire in Rosary Road at the junction with Ethel Road.

The emergency call came in at 10.04am on Thursday, March 17.

Crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze.

The incident has now been cleared and the road has been reopened.
