Amateur and practised runners from across the region were put through their paces during a community centre's first cross country run.
Around 100 runners took part in the Charles Burrell Centre 10K Forest Run in Thetford on Sunday.
The challenging cross country course weaved around Barnham Cross Common and the surrounding forest before returning to the finish line at the centre in Staniforth Road.
The event was supported by Thetford Parkrun, Loki Events and Tesco in Thetford, with all proceeds going towards improvements at the non-profit centre.
The same route will test more than 500 runners this weekend during the Cross Country County Championships, hosted by Athletics Norfolk.
