Spring is in the air at Diss Corn Hall and the new programme for April-June is packed with more events than any previous season.

There is a strong line-up of Wednesday night films with a variety of awards between them, including 'Tinker Tailor, Soldier, Spy', 'The Ides of March', 'We Need to Talk About Kevin', and 'The Help'.

The Corn Hall will also welcome the talented Oli Brown who will be performing with his band on Thursday, April 26. Oli's star is on the rise with wins at the 2011 British Blues awards including Best Band and Best Album.

On June 2, Let's Hang On will bring the ultimate Jersey Boys experience with a tribute to Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. And, if you like vibrant world music, Malambo provide a heady fusion of African/Peruvian/Creole sounds on June 8.

Also gathering pace is the always entertaining Stand up Poetry Club, hosted by Latitude and Corn Hall regular Luke Wright, which features Edinburgh Fringe favourite Tim Clare in June.

An exciting exhibition in June features recent screen prints from the instantly recognisable catalogue of Bridget Riley. At the beginning of April, the Corn Hall will be hosting an Ancient Maps of Diss exhibiton, showing a once lost map of what the town looked like in 1637. This will be accompanied by a lunchtime talk by county archivist Dr John Alban.

The venuw is also supporting local talent, with a spring concert by The Waveny Choir in April and the hugely entertaining musical 'Little Shop of Horrors' by the Mere Players in May.

Other theatrical events include Baroque theatre company's take on 'Great Expectations' and 'My Darling Clemmie', the story of Winston Churchill's beloved wife and their relationship.
