LENEY DR PETER MARTEN Passed away peacefully at home, after a long illness on April 4th aged 85 years. The funeral service will take place on Friday, April 28th at St Peters Church, Guestwick, near Dereham at 3 p.m. No flowers please, but donations, if desired, for The Institute of Cancer Research may be given at the service or sent c/o Gordon Barber Funeral Home, 43 Norwich Road, Dereham, Norfolk, NR20 3AS.

To add to my terrible last post. Peter was an amazing charismatic person to me. He redefined cool. He remains in my mind as such.

I met Alison when I think I was about 8 years old. I remember so many good times involving Guinea pigs, Queen albums, beef fat fights, bicycles, VW vans, bicycles and gliders in the garage. Peter was part of my childhood.
