A man was left with serious injuries last night after being involved in a collision with a taxi on Unthank Road.

The collision occurred around 10.50pm close to the roundabout by the Georgian Townhouse, and the road was blocked while police and ambulance services attended.

The pedestrian, a 25-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries which are not life-threatening or life-changing, Norfolk Police said.

They added: 'The circumstances of the collision are still under investigation'.
