Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Thetford.
The victim, a man in his 20s, suffered minor injuries when he was assaulted by a group of up to five men as he walked on Newtown between 10pm and 11pm on Saturday, September 10.
A spokesperson for Norfolk police said a possible racial motivation behind the attack is 'a line of enquiry' which officers are pursuing.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or anyone with information, should contact PC Steve Stone at Thetford Police Station on 101.
