The male arrested in Southtown Road in Great Yarmouth on Saturday was detained by police officers over a domestic incident, Norfolk police have said.
Norfolk police said there had been a domestic incident with the male making off, leading to a short police pursuit.
An eyewitness reported seeing the male being arrested in Southtown Road at about 2.40pm and another eyewitness said she saw six police cars and vans in the area.
