Latitude's Friday headliner, Lily Allen, has promised to 'give it my all' after receiving a stream of abuse since being parachuted on to the bill.
The singer's last-minute replacement of Two Door Cinema Club prompted criticism from the band's fans on Twitter. She said she was 'exhausted by the nastiness', but the general mood on social media has been positive as revellers headed to Henham Park.
She tweeted: 'If you're going to be rude about my replacing @TDCinemaClub on here, can you just un @ me please ? I'm so exhausted by the nastiness.
'I understand that you're disappointed but I don't think that warrants abuse. They asked, I accepted, I will give it my all, + hope you enjoy.'
She will be headlining the Obelisk Arena this evening while Damon Albarn headlines on the Saturday and The Black Keys close the main stage on Sunday.
