Wonderful to cycle and walk the new unopened section of the NDR last weekend. Astounding politicians did not insist a cycle way was built alongside it for the whole of the new route.
What are they thinking? We are constantly told we should get off our sofas and exercise. The government keeps promising new roads like this will include walk and cycle paths … and then … this!
Sporadic cycle paths have been built with large sections left without. Had they the foresight to do the whole route, many living in Drayton, Taverham, Lenwade, etc would have had a safe cycle route from home to near the airport.

I hope the council will push to rectify in the near future.
Before even talking about the missing NDR link from the 1067 to the A47 this issue should be resolved. No excuses.
