Ten years on from the merger of the young but fast-growing Brown & Co agency with long-established Norwich professional consultancy Francis Hornor, there is news of further expansion through acquisition. Brown & Co Francis Hornor has taken over the Holt and Sheringham offices of chartered surveyor and estate agent John Marsh.

Holt and Sheringham will be managed by Ross McLelland-Taylor, who took over the Fakenham office of Brown & Co in January and has previous agency experience in north Norfolk.

Mr Marsh is stepping down from his everyday involvement with property in these two prime north Norfolk locations, but will continue as consultant with Brown & Co for long-standing residential and commercial clients.

Peter Hornor, Norwich-based residential partner with Brown & Co, said he was delighted with the new opportunities, and added: “This represents consolidation for us. It gives us an even stronger presence in the county and reflects our faith in the market.”
