Well, got the cake sorted - hooray! Three tiers: top two fruit cake and the bottom one (which is just for me, yes…all of it!) is chocolate! Although I am having it iced in my colours! The top tier will be saved for our first baby's christening (that will be in the freezer for years then!) and the bottom two are to feed 116, (the portions will be 1cm x1cm of the fruit cake for Steve and guests, and a large portion of 12”x12” of chocolate for me!)I am thinking of hiring a limo for me and a few girls for the hen night, just to take us into Norwich.

I am thinking of hiring a limo for me and a few girls for the hen night, just to take us into Norwich. Steve will have his stag night the same time. I was thinking of getting him a stripper to turn up at ours before he goes out. Not sure if he would talk to me afterwards though! I think some of the boys are taking him out for a curry.

I am having a dress fitting next week, and after loosing (drum roll please…) 2 stones and 2lbs! I think I will need to choose a different style. I hope not, I hope that Peter can take it in. My friend Becca is coming with me to give her opinion. Oh, reminds me I need to sort out a small bag for Amanda, the best (wo)man so she can carry rings etc.

Have a dilemma, do I have a bag????? I wear glasses, I cannot see without them, but I don't want to wear them for photos. So I am not sure if I should have a bag to pop them into, or get Steve to pop them in his pocket. Had even thought about contact lenses for just one day but impossible with my prescription! And, when I leave the house, what do I do with my keys?? These are all things giving me nightmares at the moment!

We had our second and last marriage preparation lesson Friday just gone. It was very interesting and got a lot out of it. I think it's a really good idea to keep married couples working on the marriage after the big day has gone. Our vicar is really nice and gentle.

I now need to work on order of service. Not sure what to do yet, but I will get there.

My Mum has bought her outfit for the day, sounds really wonderful, and she has a dog sitter for the day which means she can stay the whole day. The dog has diabetes and needs her medication and letting out to the garden regularly, so it was an issue. A big thank you goes to Tony for doing it! I might even share a bit of my chocolate cake with him as a thank you (I can let a 1cm x 1cm portion go to someone else!)
