Have a merry local Christmas this year by filling your festive table with the best of Norfolk's food and drink. The EDP has teamed up with the East of England Co-op to offer one lucky reader a Christmas dinner to remember with our annual competition to win a luxury lunch for December 25.

This year, we have teamed up with the winners of the EDP Business Awards Food and Farming Excellence category, the East of England Co-op, to offer a luxury hamper worth around £400 and packed with local produce from some of East Anglia's finest suppliers to the supermarket's Sourced Locally range.

It contains all the essential ingredients for a spectacular Christmas day spread, a Boxing Day buffet and lots of extra little festive treats.

The star of the show is an award-winning turkey, supplied by William Grove Smith's family farm in Braintree and specially prepared by expert butchers C&K meats.

The traditional trimmings will include potatoes from Fairfields Farm, a special pork, sage and onion sausage meat which has been created by local farmers Ian and Sue Whitehead working in partnership with Delia Online and Christmas condiments such as cranberry sauce from Stokes Sauces' Suffolk 'Saucery' at Rendlesham Hall.

The hamper also includes a Christmas pudding from Coles, which is rich in traditional ingredients and made with local produce including tawny marmalade and Suffolk Old Growler ale plus packs of moreish short pastry mince pies, all hand-made by the team at Leggs bakery.

There will be essential cooking ingredients such as rapeseed oil made exclusively for the Sourced Locally range by Crush Foods in Swannington and beautiful buffet ingredients including a selection of mini farmhouse cheeses from Hamish Johnston in Martlesham, featuring Baby Binham Blue, Mini Suffolk Blue and Mini Suffolk Gold and Cranberry and Turkey or Sage and Onion Scotch eggs, handmade by the team at Wolff Evans and Sons in Rendlesham using lean pork shoulder and belly from Dingley Dell Pork of Woodbridge and free-range eggs from Havensfield Eggs of Hoxne.

The drinks also have a local flavour, with a case of ales from Adnams in Southwold, lagers from Calvors Brewery in Ipswich and soft drinks from James White Drinks in Ashbocking, Suffolk. And because there has to be room for chocolate at Christmas, our winner can enjoy treats from local chocolatier Hadleigh Maid.

For a chance of winning, simply send your name, address and a daytime phone number on a postcard to Stacia Briggs, East of England Co-op Competition, EDP features, Prospect House, Rouen Road, Norwich, NR1 1RE before December 15.

Normal Archant competition rules apply. You will need to be able to pick up your prize from one of the EDP offices during office hours in the week starting December 22. No cash alternative.
