Korean War veterans paid their respects on Saturday at an annual United Nations wreath laying ceremony.
The commemoration marked the 70th anniversary of the UN Charter coming into force but, according to Kenneth Jones, secretary for the British Korean Veterans Association, it could be the last one unless the Royal British Legion take the service on.
'It should be ongoing but the trouble is I don't think many people appreciate what the United Nations is for - but I was bought up with it.'
The event began with prayers by All Saints Church rector, Father Adrian Ling and those paying their respects joined a two minute silence.
West Norfolk mayor Colin Manning laid the first wreath. He said:
'It meant an awful lot to people who were there or had connections with people in that campaign.'
