Seven good causes are set to share in a £4,000 windfall from King's Lynn Town Guides.

The group, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, donates the proceeds from its guided walks to heritage organisations.

This year's beneficiaries are King's Lynn Minster, St Faith's Church, the King's Lynn Preservation Trust, Worfolk Boat Trust, Marriotts Warehouse Trust, True's Yard Fishing Museum and All Saints Church.

A presentation is being held on Tuesday, February 21, at King's Lynn Town Hall.

Bob Price, chairman of the town guides said, 'We are delighted that once again we can continue to support the work of so many local organisations who are working to preserve the unique heritage of King's Lynn.'

Nick Balaam, chair of the preservation trust, said guides helped visitors appreciate Lynn's wonderful collection of buildings.
