Locally, Yarmouth and Lowestoft are effectively cut off by a crazy road system. I could go on but is there really any comfort?

Well not from the England football squad but I mustn't despair. 'Real' papers like this one, continue to offer with their news cover, colourful local photographs and heartening pet stories.

My new housing society home is a friendly, well-run and comfortable place.

Our local hospitals are good, and the emergency services strive to look after us under pressure.

Norwich, whatever it's shortcomings remains a fine city. I am still hopeful that 'all will be well'.
