One reader thinks an aggressive approach is required to stop overdevelopment. What do you think?

I'm sure Keith Skipper is grateful for the robust defence by Neil Wayman (EDP, July 16) of his efforts to save Norfolk from the developers after my letter complaining about the increasing amount of Norfolk farmland going under the tarmac.

Obviously Mr Wayman feels the weekly message from Keith's 'pulpit' is a vital part of our efforts to keep Norfolk safe from over development and his efforts should be applauded.

But, however hard it is to accept there is no doubt that the urbanisation of my native county is accelerating despite the efforts of Keith et al.

We are not getting the message across with whimsy and drollery and my point remains that a more aggressive and sharper approach is required to save us from the diggers and tower cranes.

My comments aren't intended to be personal or particularly critical. I'm just facing facts.
