The melodic guitar riffs blared out with a bouncing success as Two Door Cinema Club took to the Obelisk stage on Saturday afternoon.

The three schoolmates who formed a band in County Down brought the alternative indie rock everyone has come to expect from the group.

As the day goes on at Latitude the stage production becomes more and more elaborate – and the band brought big light panels to produce fresh visuals from the main stage.

Ending on the hit What You Know, which has had over 160 million plays on Spotify, not a single person was left standing still to arguably their most known record.

Their interaction with the crowd was, I felt, left rather lacking as it seemed to feel – although they mentioned they are finally back after three years – it was more a mission to get through the set and off the stage. This didn't seem to hamper the crowd from bouncing and having a good time under grey skies.
