With Latitude just around the corner, food may not be the first thing on your mind but it should definitely be something to consider. Here's a look at some of the tasty treats that will be on offer at the festival this year.

• Happy Maki

This original venture has a permanent restaurant based in Brighton but luckily for us their van travels across the UK and will be bringing their vegan take on sushi to the fields of Latitude. Essentially they make giant sushi burritos, that are not only perfect for eating on the go but are healthy too. The festival menu includes avocado kiss and Thai sweet potato.

Sustainability is very important to them, and while fish free sushi may seem like a bit of an oxymoron they are passionate about preventing the damage overfishing causes the way the sushi industry drives unsustainable fish farming. As a result for every meal they sell they not only donate a meal to a child in hunger through Marys Meals, they also plant a tree.

• Shaken Udder

Most Read

Ideal for milk fiends, Shaken Udder first started out in 2003 when one of the founders Howie was danicng at V Festival and realised he was desperately craving a milkshake. Shaken Udder has gone from strength to strength and their products are now stocked in many supermarkets. They use no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, instead they flavour their milk with real fruit and the finest Belgian chocolate. Bounty, Coffee and strawberry are among our favourite flavours.

• Pan-n-Ice

You may have seen Pan-n-Ice all over the internet but if you haven't you need to look it up right now. It's hand crafted ice cream rolls made on frozen plates. You choose your base, toppings and sauce and then watch it come to life right in front of you. The masterminds behind the company are two young entrepreneurs that discovered the special technique while backpacking through Thailand. With two separate units set up at Latitude it's definitely not one to miss.

• Coffee Gondola

For those braving the campsite at Latitude there's probably little else required following a night in a tent than coffee, and good coffee at that. Coffee Gondola strongly believes in ethically-sourced, unadulterated, fresh coffee. They use Clifton Coffee, down in the South West who source ethical and seasonal green beans directly from farmers around the world. For those needing something a little sweeter there is hot cocoa too and a variety of teas.

• Blixen x Latitude

Hailing from London's Old Spitalfield's Market, Blixen are back at Latitude for another year to wow with their rotating all-day brasserie menu. Open throughout the day, you'll need to book a table if you want to be dining in their bijou pop-up. Examples of what's on offer? For brunch there's croque madame, waffles and smashed avocado on toast. Throughout the rest of the day there will be grilled sirloin with English herb chimichurri, lettuce and fries, smoked haddock fishcake with horse radish salad and red stem lettuce, and for veggie's spiralled summer vegetables, warm smoked tofu and zhoung dressing with coriander, parsley and cloves.

• Waitrose Food Tent

This year there's an exciting new addition at Latitude - the Waitrose food tent. They will be popping up with a delectable selection of summer dishes including breakfast, lunch and dinner. Expect smoked salmon with scrambled egg on sourdough toast, pulled pork rolls and quinoa burgers with sweet potato fries. There's going to be a rooftop lounge and pimp your own prosecco.
