A giant woolly mammoth, sabre tooth cat, giant deer and a bear could be seen walking the streets of Great Yarmouth at the weekend.
The prehistoric parade of puppeted animals formed part of a carnival-style procession that kick started the town's third annual Arts Festival.
Crowds lined the Market Place and King Street to watch as the colourful cavalcade, which included singers, dancers, drummers and acrobats, wound its way through the town on Saturday.
The festival runs throughout this week with a programme of music, theatre, film and heritage walks. For more details visit www.greatyarmouthartsfestival.co.uk
