The popular Eagles tribute band Talon will bring their successful touring show to the Marina Theatre on Friday, November 2 at 7.30pm.

Over the last two decades Talon have become one of the most successful theatre touring shows in the UK. This world class seven-piece band have become a brand name in their own right, as they are respected by their peers and loved by their massive fanbase.

Expect all the classics including Hotel California, Take It Easy, One of These Nights, Desperado and many more.

The Marina Theatre has a treat for classical music fans on Sunday, November 4, at 7.30pm, with Magical Mozart by Candlelight.

This sumptuous, fully costumed show will immerse the audience in the wonderful music and classical baroque world of one of the world’s greatest romantic composers.

On Tuesday, November 6, at 7pm, the Marina big screen will be showing Degas: Passion for Perfection from Exhibition on Screen

This special screening journeys through the streets of Paris to the heart of a superb exhibition at the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge.

Their extensive collection of Degas’ works is the most representative in Britain. Using written accounts by friends and commentators, and the narration of letters written by Degas himself, this film reveals a more complex truth behind one of the most influential French artists of the late 19th Century.

Two exciting new groups have also been launched at the theatre.

The Marina Choir takes place on Monday evenings at 7pm. Led by professional voice coach Charlotte Polland, this is a laidback group in which to have a sing song.

Each Thursday at 7pm Up Stagers – a creative arts group for adults – meet together to discuss arts subjects and try them out in a relaxed and informal setting.

Your first session is free and refreshments will be provided. Absolutely no experience necessary and new faces are always welcome.
