The French Circus comes to town As part of this year's Out There International Festival of Circus and Street Arts on Tuesday, September 4 to Sunday, September 9.

The town's historic circus will welcome Amiens-based Compagnie Bam on Friday, September 7.

The show 'Switch' fuses elements of traditional and contemporary circus with a rock 'n' roll attitude.

Breathtaking acrobatics performed on teeterboard and Chinese pole are delivered in a fast paced show packed with humour, driving rhythms, music and singing.

The potent mix of performance and music takes the essential elements of traditional circus and re-energises them, providing a contemporary perspective that will appeal to all the family.

Compagnie Bam have performed across the world and are acknowledged as one of France's most exciting young circus companies.

Formed from graduates of France's prestigious circus school of Chalon, their visit to Great Yarmouth comes as part of a European project, the PASS Circus Channel, which partners historic European circus towns Great Yarmouth and Amiens.
