•It takes a week to remove one whale off a beach. The dead whale was on Hunstanton beach for days whilst the council worked out what do with the carcass. People flocked to see the whale before it was cut up into chunks on Friday and taken to an incinerator.

•'Who do they think they are kidding?' The Dad's Army movie received a mixed response from critics after the film had its London premiere. The original television show was filmed in Thetford and many reviews just didn't think the film lived up to the original sitcom.

•Norwich's City newest defender Timm Klose is up for the Premier League fight despite watching his team concede five goals against Liverpool. The Swiss international is set to feature against Tottenham and admitted he is ready for the rough and tumble of the English top flight.

•A six-metre-deep sinkhole was discovered on Plumstead Road in Norwich and caused major delays in the city. The cavern was big enough to swallow a small car and has closed the road until next week.

•Brit Award winner James Bay is seriously popular in the region after his show at Thetford forest in July sold out in less that 40 minutes. Fans took to social media to express their disappoint on missing out on tickets as some were already available on re-sell sites for over £100.
