ANN and JOHN CHARLES NEWMAN

NEWMAN ANN and JOHN CHARLES (Commander R.N ret’d) ANN NEWMAN, nee BEASY passed away after a long illness on November 3rd, aged 91 years. Sadly her husband, JOHN NEWMAN, aged 92 years, survived her by just one week and died peacefully on November 10th after succumbing suddenly to ailing health. John and Ann grew up and lived in North Norfolk and loved the county, returning home after a long spell overseas to be close to their roots. They leave behind 3 daughters, 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren who will miss them dearly. A joint funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 1st, 2021, at 3 p.m. at Cromer Crematorium. Family flowers only please, but donations, if desired, in their memory to Holt & District Dementia Support or Priscilla Bacon Lodge; these can be sent c/o East of England Co-operative Funeral Services, 11 Garden Street, Cromer, Norfolk, NR27 9HN.
