A Civil Celebrant is a role which allows an individual to see the best and worst in life: conducting everything from weddings to funerals and many other celebrations in between.
Sarah Baker, who has been a celebrant for three years, is one of three finalists in the 'Celebrants and Toastmasters' category of the Guides for Brides Customer Service Awards 2018.
Mrs Baker, 47, said: 'I was thrilled to have been nominated in the first instance but honestly thought no more of it, as I assumed there would be many worthy nominations at national level.
'When I received the email from 'Guides for Brides' saying I had been shortlisted, I was blown away! I can honestly say that even if I don't win, I am thrilled and proud to have been narrowed down to the final three.'
Mrs Baker will find out on March 9 at the awards ceremony in Mayfair if she has won.
