Couples are being offered the chance to renew their vows at a Great Yarmouth landmark as it prepares to host a romance-soaked day.
The Minster is holding its second wedding fair later this year with the added attraction for 2014 that couples can re-declare their love for each other during a service conducted by Reverend Chris Terry.
The Minster Preservation Trust is organising the show and was keen to add something extra to the line up to set it apart from other wedding events, when members struck upon the idea of offering the special service to married couples.
Organiser Sandra McCullough said: 'There's lots of wedding fairs around now and we were trying to think of what we could do to offer people a little bit more than the ordinary.
'Some people want to make a big ceremony of reaffirming their vows and some people might like the opportunity to just come quietly and do it on their own.
'It's a more private thing and we thought it might be a nice opportunity to come to church and be able to do that.'
The fair, which is being held on October 18, is also hoped to provide a platform for local businesses to champion themselves.
'The emphasis is going to be on local businesses and promotion for local businesses,' Sandra added. 'Anything goes now with weddings and we're hoping to fill the church and have as many stands as we can.'
Proceeds from the fair will go to the trust to help towards a fund to install heating inside the ancient building.
As well as helping maintain the Minster, organisers also hope the show will show off the church's versatility as a space for events.
Sandra said: 'We're trying to raise the profile of the church and get people to see what a lovely building we have got in Great Yarmouth, and like all old buildings, it takes a lot of looking after.
'It's being used quite well with the arts festival but if we can get some heating in there it could be used for an awful lot more.'
The first wedding fair was held at the Minster in 2012 and hailed a success after scores of brides-to-be flocked inside to get some inspiration for their big day.
