Ever wondered what Buddhism and meditation are all about? A Norfolk Buddhist centre is holding an open day for all the family on Saturday, September 1.

Free guided meditations, tours of the meditation room, stalls to browse and children's activities will be on offer at the Amoghasiddhi Kadampa Buddhist Centre, Queens Square, Attleborough, from 10am to 5pm.

Administrative director Nick Birdsall said: 'The day will be a good opportunity for anyone to come along, meet our friendly community and begin to discover the benefits of the meditation practices we offer.'

Refreshments will be available in the centre's World Peace Caf� and courtyard garden.
