A Norfolk zoo will be opening its doors at dusk for a special event at the weekend.
On Saturday, June 30 Banham Zoo will open its gates for its 'Zoo- Do'. Visitors will get a once in a year opportunity to enter the attraction, near Attleborough, at dusk and enjoy a host of additional entertainments.
The event is organised by the Friends of Banham Zoo (FOBZ), a registered charity supporting the conservation and education aspects of the zoo.
The Zoo-Do will feature a barbecue, live music, animal encounter sessions, horse drawn dray rides, face painting, tombola, summer art exhibition, ferret racing, birds of prey display, crockery smashing and the Mighty Zulu Nation Dance Troupe Display.
Funds raised at this year's charity evening will go directly to FOBZ and the proceeds will be distributed to wildlife conservation and education projects.
Gates are open to the public from 6pm and the zoo closes at 10.30pm. Evening admission to Zoo-Do is �7.50 for adults, �5.00 for children (under 3's free). For more information, visit www.friendsofbanhamzoo.co.uk
