Donald Trump and Norwich City may not be two names you would initially put together but footage has emerged showing that there is a link between the Presidential candidate and the Canaries.
In 1991, while his rival Hilary Clinton was helping her husband prepare for his own run at claiming the White House, Mr Trump had far more important things on his mind.
The New York property tycoon was taking part in one of the showpieces of English football, helping to carry out the draw for the fifth round of the 1991-92 Rumbelows Cup.
The draw was part of the Saint and Greavsie show which was being filmed in the boardroom of Trump Towers in New York City.
Jimmy Greaves pulled out the first home team, Tottenham Hotspur. It was Mr Trump's job to pull the away teams out of the bag and lo and behold the first numbered ball he picked belonged to Norwich City.
The pair went on to face each other weeks later but Robert Fleck's goal was not enough to see off Spurs who took a 2-1 victory at White Hart Lane.
City went on to finish 18th in Division One that season which was the last time it was known under that name before it became the Premier League.
And if it wasn't enough that Mr Trump drew the Canaries out of the bag, he also walked off with a coveted Saint and Greavsie mug and Mr Greaves pointed out that President Bush and Frank Sinatra were not lucky enough to have one.
But it is yet to be seen if that mug will be taking up residence in the Oval Office come voting day on November 8.
