When three cleaners are threatened with redundancy they feel that their lives are coming to an end until a chance wrong number gives them a new business start-up idea. • Gorleston Brass Band, Gorleston Band Stand from 2-4pm

Great Yarmouth Brass Band take up residency at the bandstand. Organisers say to bring a chair or blanket and soak up their music. Contact: 01493 846343

• Church fun day, Magdalen Way Methodist Church, Gorleston from 10am until 3pm

The event is organised as part of the church's 60th anniversary. There will be having a puppet show from 11am and a display by Rashiida Egyptian Dance group. There will be crafts and activities for the children. And also stalls, raffle, displays and a messy play area for under 5s. Church and community groups will be there to give information about what they do. All refreshments are free. Contact: 01493 661469

• Open Garden and Flamenco Show, Hall Farm House in Clippesby, from 2-5pm.

There will be a sale of plants, crafts and raffle and a woodland walk. Entrance £5 to include tea and cake and it is in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association and Cancer Research. To get to Hall Farm House, turn off the B1152 at the Clippesby Hall sign. Contact: 01493 367800
