From traditional Easter egg hunts to pirate fun, a wealth of events are taking place across the region on Easter Monday.

Steve Weston, forecaster at UEA-based Weatherquest, said: 'Sunday doesn't look a particularly good day, but Monday should be better – maybe a shower but nothing like as heavy as Sunday.'


Easter Specials

Easter Eggstravaganza

With a focus on spring time, see the new arrivals in the brooder room or play a lambing activity.

Catch The Easter Bunny

RSPB Titchwell Marsh, near King's Lynn, until April 27, 9.30am-5pm, £1 per child, 01485 210779, The naughty Easter bunny has stolen all the Easter eggs, visit Titchwell Marsh, help find them and get an egg-cellent prize. This is a fun self-guided walk, to test your wildlife knowledge. Includes a chocolate prize.

Bunny Hunt

Easter Treasure Hunt

Easter Family Fun Day

Yarmouth Racecourse, April 21, from 12pm, £60-£13, under-18s free, 01493 842527, This now traditional Easter fixture in the racing calendar is a fantastic family day out with seven races. There will be plenty of additional entertainment for the children including competitions, donkey rides and inflatables. First race is at 1.50pm. Fakenham Racecourse's biggest meeting of the year also returns on April 21, with another packed and exciting afternoon of National Hunt racing.

Easter Egg Quiz

Easter Treasure Hunt

Plantation Garden Earlham Road, Norwich, April 21, 2.30pm-4.30pm, £3 per child, accompanying adults £2, This Easter treasure hunt takes place in Plantation Garden, one of Norwich hidden gems, located just off Earlham Road (in the shadow of St John's Cathedral).
