Paintings reflecting the gritty back streets of Great Yarmouth are among those on display in a week-long exhibition celebrating Norfolk Day.
Artist Jane Hall who finds endless inspiration in the sugary thrills of the seaside as well as the glories of the quay and the less-lovely areas has submitted a trio of her latest works.
The exhibition opens in Great Yarmouth library galleries on Monday building to Norfolk Day on Friday July 27.
And in tribute to the venue which plays a key role in the artistic life of the town, she has painted the building itself.
Inspired by the pillars and signage she said it seemed like a natural choice given the subject and the occasion.
Among others also showing their works are Daniel McGrath, Alison Chapman, Lorraine Auton, Colin Michael Harvey and Jasmine Jenkins.
Some of the works will be for sale, with 10pc of the proceeds going to the library's friends group.
On Norfolk Day itself there will also be a Norfolk mardle and memories day at the library 11-1pm.
People can submit their memories for a memory board and display of photographs.
Among other events are:
•Hemsby and Caister lifeboat stations plan to be open for visitors.
•In Freethorpe All Saints' Church will be serving cream teas from 2-4pm.
•At Fleggburgh Village Hall there is bring-your-own picnic event for residents of Fleggburgh, Clippesby, and Billockby to celebrate Norfolk Day, 4-6pm with free drinks and cakes from the village hall.
There will also be entertainment and games plus St Margaret's Church will be open with an exhibition of the restoration work with other exhibits in the village hall.
The event will be opened at 4pm by the mayor of Great Yarmouth, Mary Coleman.
•Redwings horse rescue centre at Caldecott near Fritton is hosting a Norfolk-themed raffle for a prize bundle including Gnaw chocolate, Norfolk preserves, and a Redwings cuddly toy.
There will also be a photography competition to win a year's free adoption sponsorship.
•Former Great Yarmouth Mercury editor and EDP coastal editor Anne Edwards will give a talk at Yarmouth library to members of the blind and visually impaired book club.
She will talk about her life as a journalist and love for the town.
