Pop the kettle on, make yourself a cuppa and raise vital funds for a leading cancer charity this Friday, September 30.

The World's Biggest Coffee Morning, organised by Macmillan Cancer Relief, sees organisations, schools, businesses and community groups simultaneously holding fund-raising events across the country.

Last year's coffee mornings raised more than £105,000 locally and the charity hopes even more people will join in the fun this year.

The money helps fund Macmillan's increasing range of services, including specialist nurses, doctors and other health professionals, new cancer care centres and practical help at home.
