Win tickets to Dorothy and the Princess of Oz PLUS dinner
If you believe Dorothy's adventures were over once she returned to Kansas, think again! The Theatre Royal Junior Arts Course returns with a spectacular show about Dorothy's return to Oz from July 27-30.
And we have joined forces with Norwich Theatre Royal to give away two top prizes of family tickets (2 adults and 2 children) for the opening night of the show and a delicious dinner at Henrys @The Lamb. The bar/restaurant has built an enviable reputation for style, atmosphere and charisma and most importantly, for keeping customers happy and coming back for more. Your family will be able to enjoy a delicious meal from their extensive continental and British influenced food menu in a fantastic atmosphere.
There will be three runner-up prizes of family tickets for the first night of Dorothy and the Princess of Oz as well.
The show picks up on Dorothy's life a year after her return to Kansas from the Marvellous Land of Oz and all is not well. Not only are her guardians forced to mortgage their farm, but in faraway Oz there is dirty work afoot. On Dorothy's return there are a few familiar faces, but new friends (and foes) are around every corner!
The production is performed by over 300 local young people who are members of the Youth Theatre Company, drawn from the 600 plus students taking part each year in the Theatre Arts Courses. With many of its alumni going on to star on stage and screen, most notably Sam Claflin (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides), now is your chance to see the stars of the future.
