Excitement is building for the visit of the Chapel Choir of Selwyn College, Cambridge to end the St Botolph's Church, Trunch 2017 season with its programme of festive favourites 'It came upon the midnight clear'.

Trunch spokesman John Mason said: 'A well-known cathedral organist said they are the in-demand collegiate choir of the moment and what a coup it was to have them coming to Trunch.'

Admission to the concert at 7.30pm on Saturday, December 9 is by programme, available at the door. Proceeds are for the restoration and maintenance of the church.

It will not only be the last concert of 2017 in St Botolph's, but it will also end a series of about 150 first class concerts spanning 20 years.

Meanwhile, at 7.30pm on Friday, December 8, St James' Church, Southrepps will be hosting a Christmas concert by the medieval specialist group Hexachordia. Tickets will be available on the door.
