A series of guided walks are planned for one of the region's beauty spots - East Hills Wood in the Tud Valley.

Norfolk Wildlife Trust and the Friends of the Tud Valley are planning the walks for Saturday, May 6 to give people the chance to experience the wonder of this natural environment.

'We do hope that people will come along and join us for a fun and informative day out.'

There will be a walk from 8am to 9.30am focusing on the birds of the wood and their different birdsongs, and another walk from 10.30am to 12.30pm looking at wildflowers. There will also be 'Minibeast Safari' walks starting at 1.30pm and 3pm, focusing on insects. The walks depart from East Hills Wood car park, off Longwater Lane, Costessey.
