CELIA WIGG
Rock star Rick Wakeman will chair a gardeners' question time session as
one of the highlights of
the Brockdish summer weekend event on June 9 and 10.
It follows hot on the heels of a week of concerts in the four villages between Brockdish and Scole - all forming part of the Four Churches Festival.
More than 20 gardens will be open to the public, ranging from those of 17th century houses to artist Rebecca Lyne's sculpture meadow.
There will also be a feast of art, with a contemporary exhibition by Royal Academician Norman Ackroyd and ceramicist John Chipperfield at the Old Rectory.
Work by local art groups and students from Brockdish Primary School will also be on show.
Mr Wakeman, a regular on the TV series Grumpy Old Men, will host the Gardeners Question Time - based on the popular BBC radio programme - at the village hall at 7.30pm on
the Saturday. Admission is £4.
