A TV series set in Norfolk premiered on Channel Five on Thursday evening (October 19).

Bad Habits, Holy Orders follows a group of party girls aged 19 to 23 as they swap booze and social media for a 'spiritual journey' at the Sacred Heart Convent in Swaffham.

During their month-long stay, the five girls must give up their vices and help the Sisters of the Daughters of Divine Charity with their community outreach duties.

The first episode introduced the girls and provided insight into their upcoming journey, which would see them rise early for prayers, enjoy pursuits such as playing instruments, survive on a monthly allowance of £25 and be in a state of silent contemplation from 10pm.

Hordes of viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the show, with many loving the nuns.

Lucy Haynes tweeted: 'I actually could go and live in that convent those nuns are incredible!'

Kaz Hardwick-Charles said the show reminded her of 'Sister Act', while Lisa Blake admitted she was 'cringing behind a cushion yet thoroughly enjoying Bad Habits Holy Orders.'

Bad Habits Holy Orders is on Channel Five on Thursdays at 10pm.
