The Vaccines played the Obelisk arena on Saturday night.

This was the second time that I'd seen The Vaccines this year, but in two very different locations. One was on a snowy night in Paris, the other a balmy festival field in Suffolk, but on both occasions they energised the crowd.

The Vaccines are known for short, incredibly catchy songs such as Wreckin' Bar (Ra Ra Ra) which lasts for just one minute and 24 seconds and Norgaard that runs for one minute forty.

The Vaccines epitomise classic teenage angst with songs such as No Hope and Bad Mood. Their songs are fist-pumping, head-banging rock anthems and you can understand why the band has opened for acts like The Rolling Stones, Arctic Monkeys and Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

After their final song I Can't Quit the audience were fully charged and ready for The Killers to arrive.
