Six-piece band Morganway are set to play a sell-out gig at the Norwich Arts Centre in September.
The alt-country group were formed in 2013 by twins Callum and Kieran Morgan, both from Colby in north Norfolk. They became a five-piece in 2015 with the line up soon to be completed with Rory Hill joining them as bass player.
And on Thursday 7 September the group will play their first big gig since their outstanding set supporting The Shires at Taverham Hall, where they performed to a crowd of 4,000. It was their biggest gig to date.
'We knew it would be a big show for us, but we were completely knocked out by the sheer scale of it,' explained guitarist and vocalist Callum.
'Over the last few years, we've played a lot of shows, but supporting The Shires was the first time I've been properly nervous before a gig,' added keyboardist Matthew Brocklehurst from Alby.

'Playing before our biggest crowd and having the reaction that we did was just amazing,' said lead guitarist Kieran.
Their success dates back to 2015 when they won the Twisted Melon Battle of the Bands in King's Lynn. They then set to work on their debut EP No Tomorrows which was released in July 2016.

As their local reputation began to build they headed straight back into the studio to record The Hurricane EP, released in 2017, which led to extensive airplay on the Chris Country radio station and BBC Introducing, as well as reviews on various blogs.
Morganway also caught the eye of country music king Bob Harris, who invited them for a session at his renowned Under The Apple Tree Studios. Impressed by their performance, Whispering Bob TV then asked them to perform at Silverstone Grand Prix earlier this summer.
'Bob, Miles and Trudie have done so much for Americana and country music. Their support is mind-blowing. I don't think it dawned on us how big it was until we arrived at their house and met the whole family. They really put our nerves at ease,' explained Callum.
The buzz has continued to build for the band since their performance at Taverham Hall, with a recent nomination by the prestigious BCMA awards for 'Group of the Year'.
To top it all off, their upcoming show at the Norwich Arts Centre is completely sold out.
'I can already tell that the show at Norwich Arts Centre will be a special show. It's my favourite venue in the world, it always feels like home, and it's my favourite place to see the bands I really love,' said Matthew.
With a debut album in the pipeline, set for release at the start of 2018, things are looking very positive for Morganway.
Definitely a band to keep an eye on!
