Music fans in north Norfolk have two opportunities to see one of the top violinists in the country in the next week.
Benedict Holland, who has guest-led many of the country's major orchestras, will perform Mendelssohn's violin concerto with the North Norfolk Sinfonia conducted by Keith Hobday on Friday, July 7.
The concert at St Peter's Church, Sheringham, at 7.30pm, will also include Mozart's Magic Flute Overture and Beethoven's 7th Symphony.
And then, on Friday, July 14, at 2pm, the Professor of Violin at the Royal Northern College of Music will be present when his gifted students take part in a free summer celebration concert at the Belfry Centre, Cromer Road, Overstrand. This will also feature pianist Elena Nalimova, from the St Petersburg Conservatoire.
For the Sheringham concert, tickets £10, children free, available on the door or from the Belfry Centre on 01263 579196.
