Dance yourself dizzy - that's the call from Edward Colby, who used to run the Tudor Hall nightclub in Norwich during its 10-year heyday.
Dance yourself dizzy - that's the call from Edward Colby, who used to run the Tudor Hall nightclub in Norwich during its 10-year heyday.
Earlier this year, EDP2 looked back at some of the county's nightspots in years gone by and featured Mr Colby and his memories of the popular Tudor Hall.
Now many of his former staff have got in touch with him and have organised a reunion for those who worked there and those who loved to party there!
The Tudor Hall Reunion night is at Arkwrights in Hobart Square, off Hall Road, Norwich on Friday November 21, 7.30pm to midnight. Tickets cost £5 and are on sale now at Arkwrights on 01603 627309 and from organiser Julie Glen on 07785 244167 or assistant organiser Marianne Gibbs on 01603 713327.
The event is in aid of Children In Need.
Former DJs, bar staff, door staff and customers at the club from 1976 to 1986 are already booking tickets for the night, which will feature disco music of the era.

Mr Colby commented: “The Tudor Hall was an incredible place. It was a major venue in the city and literally hundreds of thousands of clubbers came there. If this night is a big success we hope to be able to have a follow-up next year.”
