The Forestry Commission announced today that the Liverpool-based band will be playing a series of forest gigs across the country, with the first at High Lodge on Thursday June 5.

The group is currently recording its unnamed follow-up with to the multi platinum selling albums Who Killed The Zutons? and Tired Of Hanging Around, in America.

Their confirmation on the Forestry Commission's annual forest summer line-up will be their first UK tour in two years.

The Zutons' catchy singles like You Will You Won't, Pressure Point and Why Won't You Give Me Your Love have enjoyed extensive radio airplay and the classic Valerie has become a smash hit across the globe.
