Norwich will be live and laughing when one of the country's best loved comedians visits the city later this month.

Stand-up comedian Michael McIntyre will be at Norwich Playhouse on Tuesday, November 29, at 8pm.

London-born McIntyre, who is known for his series Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, will be performing his work-in-progress ahead of his tour which will see him take to the stage at the O2, Wembley and the Manchester Evening News Arena.

The Britain's Got Talent judge will then embark on a full tour of the UK and Ireland in Autumn 2012.

The Playhouse has recently welcomed comedians including Jason Byrne, Russell Kane, Jack Whitehall, Dave Gorman, Mock the Week's Andy Parsons, Shappi Khorsandi and Chris Addison to the city.

Tickets will go on sale at 11am on Saturday, November 26.

A maximum of four tickets per booking can be bought.
