New Wave quintet Squeeze are the latest band to be announced in the line-up for this summer's Latitude festival in Suffolk.

After a decade of tours and festivals, the band are currently working on new material, so Latitude Festival revellers can expect a mixture of both old and new in a set which is sure to be one of the weekend's highlights.

The group are known best for their hit songs Cool For Cats, and Up The Junction, thanks to Glen Tilbrook and Chris Difford's prolific writing partnership in a career spanning 30 years.

They will be joined by Mew and Ladyhawke in the Uncut Arena, while synth-pop queen Little Boots, Victoria Hesketh, will be headlining the Sunrise Arena on the Friday night.

They join a line-up which includes Pet Shop Boys and Grace Jones at the festival, which takes place on July 16-19 at Henham Park estate near Southwold.
