A century of musical theatre is being celebrated in a special show at Norwich Puppet Theatre this month.
The Show Must Go On - 100 Years of Musical Theatre is taking to the city theatre's stage on May 25 and 26.
It will feature musical numbers from a mix of shows ranging from Rodgers and Hammerstein shows to musicals such as Jesus Christ Superstar, Chicago, Miss Saigon and Phantom of the Opera.
It was the idea of Sarah Pryde and Chris Dilley, of Performers International Productions LLP, who originally previewed the show with a professional cast in Madeira before bring the production back to Norwich. Presenter Helen McDermott is joing the Norwich cast along with performers from the Heather Millan School of Dance and Performing Arts.
The Show Must Go On is on Friday, May 25 at 7.30pm and Saturday, May 26 at 2pm and 7.30pm. Matinee tickets £10. Evening tickets £15 (concessions £13). To book, visit www.puppettheatre.co.uk or call 01603 629921.
