Sheringham and Cromer Choral Society is inviting music-lovers to take part in a 'come and sing' workshop on October 14.
The free event, which has been funded by a £1,000 grant from the Tesco Bags of Help initiative, will see the society's musical director David Ballard and accompanist Philip Adams spend a day working with people of all ages on a performance of Mozart's Requiem in D minor.
The piece will then be performed in front of friends, family and local people as part of a concert at St Peter's Church, Sheringham.
Choral society chairman Bob Cumber said: 'The workshop is essentially for people to have fun singing, but, for us as a choir, it is also an opportunity to let people know we are here and that they are welcome to join us.'
The workshop will run at the Lighthouse Church, Sheringham, from 10am-4pm, with the concert at kicking off at 5pm. To book a place, phone 012163 711087 or email sccssec@gmail.com
