Mr Lover Lover himself, the Grammy-award winning Jamaican-American reggae fusion superstar, arrives at the University of East Anglia. The 48-year-old singer, real name Orville Richard Burrell, is best known for Boombastic hit singles such as Oh Carolina, Angel and It Wasn't Me, the later of which topped Billboard's Hot 100 chart. He has also released 12 studio albums, winning a Grammy in 1996 for Best Reggae Album with Boombastic.
Phil Rudd Band

He's been more used to playing to mega crowds in stadiums, but here former AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd brings his band to the intimate surroundings of the Waterfront. He had a well publicised fall from grace with the Aussie rockers after a brush with the law, but he remains one of the best rock drummers around and here arrives off the back of the re-release of his album Head Job.
Ian Hunter & The Rant Band

Ian Hunter joined Mott The Hoople in 1969 and recorded four iconoclastic albums as they hit international stardom with the glam-rock anthem, the David Bowie penned, All The Young Dudes. He visits on the back of his album, Fingers Crossed, which includes his Bowie homage, Dandy, and features his magnificent Rant Band. Support comes from indie-folk duo The Worry Dolls.

New Wave band who had a worldwide hit with Turning Japanese in 1980 and who have reformed after 35 years to perform a small number of gigs in the UK. The band split in 1981 after sour singles and two albums. Originally discovered by Jam bassist Bruce Foxton and co-managed by Paul Weller's father John, the band reached number number in the UK charts with Turning Japanese, from the now iconic album New Clear Days.

Afro-pop superstar from Nigeria who has been hailed as one of Africa's hottest new talents. His memorable hooks over traditional instrumental sounds have helped him to gain the attention of mainstream audiences, not just world music wonks. Here he brings his hits such as Skin Tight, Hollup, Bankulize and there will be mash-ups and new materials to relish too.

Ralph Wyld's Mosaic

Having visited Norwich Jazz Club with Tom Hewson's trio in 2015, vibraphonist Ralph Wyld returns with his own sextet, Mosaic. Featuring critically acclaimed musicians, they combine contemporary jazz and chamber music with intense improvisation and the unusual line-up. Ralph cites Gil Evans and Steve Reich among his influences. The band's debut album, Subterranea, will be available on the gig.
