A theatre will reopen after more than four months of lockdown with a pledge to give all money from ticket sales to performers.
The Seagull Theatre in Lowestoft has been putting in place the necessary restrictions and changes to ensure it is Covid-secure, and will offer shows again, starting on Friday, September 4.
The experience will be a little different to what patrons have been used to in the past with only 36 seats available for each show and masks mandatory for the audience.
The September season will feature predominantly local performers, who will be getting 100pc of the ticket sales.

Karen Read, manager, said: “We are so excited to be able to introduce a season of shows for our local audience.
“The Seagull is first and foremost a community venue, and as such we have really missed being able to entertain our audience and support our local acts.
“While socially distanced shows clearly have their limitations, we always like to look on the bright side and have designed this season to deliver both excellent value for money and a modest income for performers.
“We have been overwhelmed at the Seagull by the expressions of support and love we have received and there will be opportunities at each show for anyone who wishes to make a separate donation to the theatre itself.”
Shows to watch out for this September season are:
• Mama G, traditional pantomime dame, will be returning to the Seagull with her storytelling show - September 4, 7pm.
• Musical duo Stephen and Paul Amer will return with their Masters of Swing concert showcasing the music of the swing artists of the fifties and beyond - September 11, 7.30pm.
• Lowestoft born magician and entertainer Josh Pickering will once again bring his magic show to the theatre - September 18, 7pm.
• Local historian Ivan Bunn will be presenting his talk on The Lost Buildings of Lowestoft - September 19 and 20, 7.30pm.
• Local group Laughing Fox Productions round off the season with their puppet based show Fox Tales - The Pied Piper of Hamelin on September 25, 7pm.
For all events except Mr Bunn’s talk, tickets are £5 and all money from sales goes to the performers.
